Rector: Canon Paul Walker
Paul Walker was appointed to St. John’s Elora in January 2018. He was ordained in the Diocese of Toronto in 2001 and served in parishes in Whitby and Mississauga. Originally from Sarnia Ontario he is a graduate of Queen’s University, B.A (Hons), B.Ed., M.A. (Historical Cultural Geography) and of Wycliffe College (U of T), M.Div.

Director of Music: Dr. Patrick Murray
Conductor and composer Dr. Patrick Murray is Director of Music at St. John’s Elora, where he directs the Parish Choir and oversees the church’s ministry of musical outreach. Additionally, Murray serves as Artistic Director of Chor Amica Chamber Choir (London, ON) and director of the University of Toronto Scarborough Concert Choir. In addition to performance work, Murray is a passionate educator and advocate for community-engaged music-making. He has previously served as Associate Conductor with the Bach Children’s Chorus and Oakville Children’s Chorus choirs, on faculty at Western University and Wilfrid Laurier University, and is regularly in demand as a clinician and adjudicator. Murray’s original works and arrangements have been premiered by notable ensembles including New York Polyphony, Carmel Bach Festival, Grand Philharmonic Choir, DaCapo Chamber Choir, and others. Murray holds degrees from University of Illinois, Yale University, and University of Toronto
